CICM Bids Farewell to Fr. Angel Luciano

With sadness, the CICM RP Province, the biological family, and friends bids farewell to a great missionary, Fr. Angel Luciano, CICM, who returned home to the Father on March 29, 2020, the Fifth Sunday of Lent, in his home town, Santa Maria – Bulacan.

Fr. Angel, 74, was first sent to the missions in Zambia, in 1975. He was recalled to the Philippines for home-service from 1982 – 1997. Later, in 1999 he served the CICM mission in Singapore. Before his demise, he was enjoying his retirement at the Home Sweet Home, Quezon City.

In his missionary journey, Fr. Angel has served in different ministries ranging from vocation animation, pastoral work, formation work, chaplaincy, and administration.

On the day of his interment (April 2, 2020), at the Catholic Cemetery of Santa Maria, Bulacan, several CICM communities offered a Memorial Mass for the eternal repose of his soul.
