An ambiance of unity, sharing and listening took part during the bi-annual PCPI (Provincial Committee on Parish Involvements) Session last October 12-15, at the Centennial Hall.
Having almost all confreres working in parishes present was a blessing and at the same time a beautiful occasion for bonding, camaraderie and serious work.
The group had the opportunity to report and listen to the pastoral life of each confrere in the parishes they are working in. In line with the ongoing scenario in the country, that of approaching elections, one talk on the Current Social and Political Analysis was given by Fr. Marlon Lacal, Ocarm, from the ARMSP. Another talk was delivered by Fr. Abundio Babor, MSC on Laudato Si, to highlight the awareness that is needed in relation to the care of nature.
Fr. Monch, Provincial Superior, talked about the Missionary Project in the local level and urged confreres to move forward as the province has been moving towards its updating. Other confreres also presented their concerns such as the provincial treasurer on budget making, the vocation director on vocation promotion in the parishes, and the pastoral coordinator of AIFC on the weekend apostolate and pastoral exposures of student confreres.
